Great spot to bring a picnic, beach chairs and your paddle board. Easy trail around the lake. Perfect for a family walk or an easier mountain bike ride. Be aware of the carbon dioxide warning on the hill. Loop is about 1.8 miles.

Sightseeing
Known for it's out-of-this-world-looking Tufas (natural formations from dissolved sodium salts of chlorides, carbonates and sulfates). The vertical photo upstairs between the bedroom door and bookcase is of Mono Lake. Gorgeous to look at, although we wouldn't recommend bringing a swimsuit as the lake is incredibly salty.

Parking Near The Mill/Main Lodge
If you're skiing/snowboarding on the weekend, we recommend you leave Snowcreek no later than 8am to find good parking. If you plan to park at The Mill or Main Lodge and it's very busy, there's a less known, smaller parking lot just prior to arriving at The Mill on your left side. It's a slight trek but you can walk up the small hill and ski down to lift #10.
