Independence mine is a quick 20 minute drive up the pass from the chalets. Historical mine tours are available in summer months with great hiking trails all around. Winter months you can XC and back country ski, sled, or walk on the groomed trails up and around the mine.

Miles and miles of trails less than 5 miles from the chalets. In the summer enjoy the trails for hiking and biking. In the winter trails are groomed for skiers and fat bikers both. There is also a large building on site that can be rented for your large group event.
