This is a very typical street if you want a taste of our most fresh fish! As you enter this street you will smell the fish, see homemade grills and an enormous variety of fish & seafood.
You can get here by metro or bus! And it's totally worth going!

This is a great place for Portuguese food! It's a restaurant managed by a family, very nice! As a dessert, the chocolate mousse is a must! It's also a good place for our tradicional Francesinha. If you like spicy food ask for the house special sauce for your Francesinha ;)

Mercado do Bolhão is the most tradicional market in the heart of Porto. An entire block that remains in its original form since decades, and this is where you can see & smell the essence of the Tripeiros (this is how people from Porto is called).
The place to go for your fresh fruit & vegetables, meat & fish, tradicional products such different kinds of bread, sweets, wines & olives, among others. You can also have a meal or buy some souvenirs.
In August 2016 some reconstruction process started but it's not until the end of 2017 that the market will close for it's full reconstruction!
Can you imagine the building from the 19th century appearing with all its splendour?? :)

On the outside it's imposing structure shows how magnificent this station is, letting you imagine all the great stories that happened and will keep happening in one of the entrance/exit of this city.
