The best Israeli/Mediterranean food in the world...and I used to live in Tel-Aviv! Big call I know, but seriously, its clean, its fresh and unbeatably delicious. Small hole in the wall kinda joint though, so I recommend getting take away and sitting out in our courtyard.

FInger-licking Ethiopian food! If you haven't tried Ethiopian food before, Mesob is a great place to start. Plenty of options for both the vegetarian and omnivore... and try the house-made honey wine while you're there!

Keep in mind, it gets busy so best to go first thing in the morning (around 8am) or later in the evening around 5pm or 6pm to skip the lines... Avoid weekends - it's popular!

The closest tram stop to our place. Trams run regularly throughout the day (every 10 mins during the week). This will take you straight into the heart of the city in under 30 minutes. It also goes via Smith St in Fitzroy which is a wonderful place to hop off and explore, with many more restaurants, bars and shops.
