18 Castle Street (less than a 5 minute walk from the apartment) the best pizzas in Shrewsbury! They don’t take bookings, great music, and a very friendly vibe. Opposite ‘Dough and Oil’ you’ll find their sister bar ‘Oil’, they have great beers, cocktails, lots of board games and quite often have DJs downstairs.

Approximately a 10 minute walk- it’s in the town centre.
Very good local food, great breakfasts and lunches. Can be very popular so worth booking. Always a favourite when I have friends and family over. 01743272709

20 minute drive, it is a beautiful walk! And there’s a great restaurant/ pub next to it ‘The Old Three Pigeons’ so you can make a real day out of it. You’ll find some stunning view points.

(10 minutes drive) this is our national trust park, it’s lovely and you’ll find deer but if you don’t have a National trust card it’s £15pp. At the moment you need to prebook your slot. If you do choose to go the Mytton and Mermaid is a nice restaurant nearby.

Absolutely stunning, lots of different walks. You’ll find some wild swimming and wild horses!
