Another spot for delicious food and great service! They have something for everyone on their menu! They don't take reservations, but can get quite busy, so we'd recommend to plan your arrival ahead of time.

The brewery has some of the best vibes and views in Ukee! Come here if you're looking for a chill place to enjoy some of the local beer and grab a quick bite to eat. They also have board games you can borrow and have live music some nights!

This spot is one of a kind! It has an incredibly unique location being right on the water, their food is very reasonably priced and is delicious!

Ukee Poke bowl is a great spot to grab a quick bite! They offer traditional Peruvian style Poke bowls in a build it yourself style. Very much a staple to Ukee.

Yayu is our go to lunch spot! They have great fusion bowls (pad Thai & Abundance bowl are our favourites), and brownies! We've also heard great things about their smoothies too but have yet to try them!

The break is a new bakery/restaurant in town that has the most delicious breakfast/lunches plus baked goods and coffee! Definitely a must at least once during your stay!

Great sourdough pizza! A bit hard to know if they're open, but are usually open Friday-Monday 5-10pm for sure. Just go by to see their hours. During the summer months it can get very busy quickly, so trying to go as close to 5pm is recommended.

Trails & Hikes
The lighthouse loop is a local favourite in Ucluelet! It's an easy and accessible trail for the whole family with incredible ocean views, old growth Sitka trees and lots of opportunities to see Bald Eagles and even whales during migration seasons. This trail is within walking distance of our suite and can be accessed at the south end of Terrace Beach.

It's an easy and accessible trail for the whole family with incredible ocean views, old growth Sitka trees and lots of opportunities to see Bald Eagles and even whales during migration seasons. This trail is within walking distance of our suite and can be accessed at the south end of Terrace Beach.
Another easy forest trail that loops through a spectacular old growth cedar forest, a great option if you love big trees! This trail also connects with the Wild Pacific Trail if you want to turn it into a longer coastal hike.

A secret hike and local favourite, the Half Moon Bay hike is a short drive north of town and features old growth coastal trees, a lovely forest boardwalk and almost 200 wooden stairs down to a secluded, soft sandy beach. If you’re planning to do this hike, try to get there early as the small parking lot can fill up quick on sunny days and weekends.

Pacific Rim National Park - The crown jewel of Vancouver Island, this park is home to spectacular sandy beaches, wildlife and old growth forests unique to Canada’s west coast. Wickaninnish Beach and Florencia bay are both a short 15 minute drive from the suite and are two of the most stunning beaches in Canada.
A more challenging hike about 30 minutes down a logging road from Ukee. Its about 10km round trip, takes around 3-4 hours and its an out and back trail that gives you some of the best views of the area we've experienced so far. Look it up on all trails for more info and check the reviews on current conditions from other hikers! It can be more challenging in the snow in the winter, and we recommend bear spray in the summer.

Little Beach is closest to the suite and is a small, mostly sandy beach that is great for soaking in the sun and going for a short dip. This is a popular beach for both tourists and locals alike and a town favourite for having a fire and watching the sunset.

Terrace Beach is a slightly further walk south past little beach and accessible by walking through “The Cabins at Terrace Beach” rental suites. This is a more secluded beach that is often less crowded than the two mentioned above. Old growth sitka trees grow right to the edge of the beach which makes it feel far more secluded and private and the Lighthouse Loop trail is accessible from the parking lot at the south end.
