Enjoy the ride
Greer is a small destination town in the White Mountains of Arizona. It’s at the end of the road. The highest elevated town in Arizona. There is only one way in and one way out. Highway AZ-373
Greer is about a 4 hour drive from Phoenix, you can probably do it in 3 but I wouldn’t recommend it since you will be missing out of one of the coolest road trips in Arizona and the Southwest. Besides if you get a speeding ticket that would suck and probably ruin the trip.

There is NO GAS in Greer
Fill up in Pinetop or Show low or my favorite, Springerville. I love Springerville. It has everything you need and more.

There is only one small Store in Greer and it closes at 5pm.
Bring Your Groceries. There are bigger grocery stores in Pinetop and Springerville/ Eager. Eddies Grocery in Pinetop, Bashas and Safeway in Springerville and Eager.
Western Drug in Springerville is like a mini Walmart on steroids. If you can't find it there you can probably live without it.
