Agape Acres has a series of trails directly across the street from our house. Just walk north a few hundred feet and a you’ll see a pull off with a gate you can walk around to access the trails. Or if you prefer to check out the shop it’s just South of us. It’s great for trail running and mountain biking in the summer. In the winter Art keeps the trails groomed for XC skiing and snowshoeing!

This 1 mile round trip hike gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Pack a picnic and a flashlight and watch the sunset!

This place has a great selection of homemade bakery items, as well as local fresh produce, disc golf, and goats and often bouncy houses for the kiddos. Go a little farther down and take a left past the stand for flights of local cider on tap. In the fall come pick apples. Oh, and don’t forget fireworks around the 4th of July too!

Skin and Riding
Shawnee peak is a great little family mountain with night skiing too. Get the most out of your all-day pass, starting with the east side that is only open weekends and ripping down the kancamangus at night! The blizzards pub makes some amazing bloody Mary’s!
