Big Grocery Store, good prices. Also a huge garden, hardware, housewares section too. If you're looking for something, chances are "You'll Find It At Fred Meyer."

The Fremont outpost of Puget Consumer's Coop, a natural foods store. You can feel good about everything you buy here, just don't look at the bill. Great bulk section and deli salads.

The sweetest tourist attraction I know. gardens, locks, salmon (in season), summer concerts, salt spray. Get food from Paseo and eat it here!

Okay, not the best food, but the best place in walking distance for a crowd. Would only recommend if you need a place for 5 or more to hang out and aren't concerned about good food.

I've only eaten at their food truck, Where Ya at Matt's, but it is one of my favorite food trucks. This used to be a great dive bar, still miss the $1 hot dogs!
