Its water level fluctuates considerably throughout the year, so that it is not uncommon for it to dry up completely. In these cases, football is played at its bottom. During the summer months, there is usually enough water for swimming, and it is not uncommon to play various water sports. Special attention is paid to the quality of the water and the tidiness of the beaches and the environment by planting and nurturing suitable Mediterranean species. There is a legend about the origin of this lake called Gavanov dvori.
