Leeto Resturant, situated at the Strandlooper Boutique Hotel on the North of the village is excellent. Booking essential.
Seekat Resturant for sushi and sundowner is situated at The Patertnoster Waterfront.
For breakfast or a light lunch The Hobnobbery, Mondvol or Cathys Kitchen are my recommendations.
Many restaurants are closed on Monday and Tuesday. The Hotel and Voorstrandt are generally open. Gaaitjie is also open on Monday.
Paternoster goes to sleep early so don't leave your dinner choice too late.
Blikkie Pizza for the best soft serve ice cream.
The Wine Bar serves a platter to share.

Cape Colombine Nature Reserve is next to Bek Baai where your cottage A'gua is situated. You can walk into the Nature Reserve along the beach. However, if you drive, cash may be required at the gate. Truly wild coast can be found if you drive right through the nature reserve, park and then walk. Take a picnic and spend a couple of hours.

So interesting, with an internationally acclaimed collection of fossils found on site. Great little restaurant too. Closed Monday

Walking trails
Walk the beautiful beaches. For the more adventurous, walk from Paternoster to Jacobsbaai or Paternoster to st Martins Bay. Both approximately 17 kms in either direction

While it is safe to walk around Paternoster, please be aware that we are still in South Africa. Don't walk late at night.

Street Vendors
Some of the crayfish sellers have permits. If you wish to buy crayfish, buy from the boats as they arrive back to shore at the beach, around 10 am. Thereafter, buy in town. Please dont buy or encourage anyone to come to your cottage. This is for your own security.
