We love hiking here in every season. There are options for a short loop or longer hikes and both have incredible views! Pack a picnic and maybe even swimsuits and towels if its a warm day - you might want to go for a dip. The parking lot is small and fills up quickly on weekends, but we find people spread out on the trails and it's never too busy.

The best classic cottage country bakery. Everything is great, but we particularly recommend the apple fritters and the "scones" (which are really a triangle shaped bun that is great for peameal bacon sandwiches!

A very cute cafe right on the water in Bala. Great eats, local shopping, and you can drink your coffee on their dock right on Bala Bay. Note - they have boat parking!
