Turkish Grill Takeaway. Very cheap turkish food , Turkish pizza for 1,50 euro, well know in the neighbourhood for good food. Definitely not very attractive to look at but great cheap food

Very cool bar with a relaxed vibe made out of cargo containers with a little beach. It's great in the sunshine and serves healthy food. Free ferry (you can take bikes) from Central Station

Organic restaurant in a greenhouse where they grow all there own vegetables and herbs etc. Expensive but worth it.

This drivable snackbar on the Dappermarket has one of the best French fries of Amsterdam (won a prize for the best of Amsterdam and 7th place in Holland).
Definitely looks a bit crappy but their fresh made French fries and their delicious spicy mayo make you think your in heaven!
So.. ask for their spicy mayo or half normal mayo/half spicy mayo

Very chilled out water side bar and restaurant with a bit of a retro vibe. Great on a sunny day when you will see local Amsterdammers stop by for a drink on their canalboats.
