The closest city center Nea Michaniona that is approximately 5km miles away. There are a number of different shops, banks, bars, and restaurants nearby. There you can find many local markets, even supermarkets like Sklavenitis (recommended) and Lidl (cheapest) or Masoutis. Google it before start going there. Flea market every Thursday! Very good priced products! You will find also there many Greek traditional restaurants/tavern with seafood. You will find an amount of cafeterias on the sidewalk in line with sea view also in the center of the city. There is also a little polyclinic (EKAV)

Right next to us there is the beach bar Kyma and Asterias. Additionally, in the center of Epanomi (knows as Parko or another location nearby known as Platia). You will find also at the 3 beaches Paralia-Potamos-Palioura of Epanomi. Don’t lose the chance to visit and see the amazing corkscrew collection in Domain Gerovassiliou Wine Museum. Ktima Gerovassiliou is open to all oenophiles and anyone wishing to get to know the world of wine and viticulture. Visits comprise a short walk around the vineyard, a tour in the wine-production, bottling and ageing areas, and the Wine Museum. Further than Potamos you will find another monument of Epanomi in the crystal clear water. It is a sunken ship, also known as the "shipwreck of Epanomi", during the dictatorship carried out soil transport operations in order to "embrace" a special beauty and unique natural beauty, where hundreds of fauna species and about 2,500 flowers and plants grow. The nature, there, is pure and the wetland is protected by “Natura 2000” program.

How you arrive!

We recommend you to rent a car or reach here with your own car in order to feel free to explore the area and visit the best attractions. But there is also very good bus connection with the cities around. Buses no77, no69B, no70 (bus stop Palio Terma/ Παλιό Τέρμα) come and go every half an hour. Festivals and events!

We have specific days combined with the saints’ name days and their churches in the area. Like Saint Marina (16-17 July - Paralia), Saint Paraskevi (26 July –Paliouras). Nea Michaniona celebrates the Virgin Mary's ninth day, on August 23rd, with a great feast attended by pilgrims from all over the prefecture. We have also “The feast of sardine” both in Epanomi and Nea Michaniona(around 30th of July), but Chalkidiki has a lot events with this name.
