Another charming town on the water, Hertford is also home to antiques, local food, farm market and a cute downtown! Hertford is about 30 minutes from Gatesville as well. On the way there you'll pass by the Nicholson House and Layden's General Store..Both great places to visit!

Take a right out of the driveway and stay on Main Street as it heads out of town, you'll be heading to the town of Gates where you'll see Family Foods on the right!
