Expo Square has a wide variety of fun events going on around the year, including horse shows, antique markets, classic car shows, family entertainment shows and of course the Tulsa State Fair.

This is one of America's top parks and truly not to be missed. The Gathering Place is not just for children. It has a huge lodge with a cozy chairs and fireplaces to read or study, overlooking a lake and an ice cream shop on the bottom level. A small restaurant outside the lodge sells hamburgers, chicken strips etc. and you can even purchase a beer to sip while you watch your kids play in the sandboxes nearby.
There's a boathouse where you can rent paddle boats or kayaks, shady walking trails throughout the massive park and charming, interactive play structures for children of all ages.

Some of my favorite food spots on Cherry Street — which runs several blocks along 15th from Utica to Peoria — include Andolini’s or Hideaway (both casual pizza places), Smoke ( pricier but not fussy), Kilkennys (fun Irish pub), Roosevelts (elevated bar food in a beautiful setting) and one of the best restaurants in Tulsa: the Palace Cafe (special occasion worthy).
Ladies there’s also a Dry Bar there if you want to get a blowout.
