Mahoney’s is my favorite local spot for Sunday brunch (bottomless mimosas!) and an excellent people-watching venue when you grab a table outside, as it’s on the intersection of all the Waterway walking traffic. They also have live bands every weekend.

Dance Club
Rose Rooftop is the place to be seen on a Friday or Saturday night after 10:30 or so, with a live DJ, a packed dance floor, and some of the best views of the Waterway. Take the elevator next to Grimaldi’s and go all the way up!

A gem on the Waterway, located just above Sorriso Italian restaurant, this is an upscale piano bar with a fun staff serving amazing drinks. One of my personal faves!
