The Drive really needed a good cocktail bar and Bar Corso swooped in and made our dreams come true. Fabulous spot for a nightcap, also only a 2 min walk away.

A classic 1970s Italian joint that was purchased by a Vancouver restauranteur who kept the amazing vintage interior while giving some love to the menu. Very special spot. Reservation recommended!

Potentially the best Mexican in Vancouver?! Definitely the best Mexican in East Van. Fantastic margaritas, wonderful tacos, always a lively ambiance and friendly, quick service.

Sort of like the wand shop from Harry Potter but for wine. Long, dark narrow and full of a great selection wine and beer. Don't be shy! Ask for reccos from their incredibly helpful team. 5 min walk from our spot.

Best sushi on the drive! They don’t take reservations so if you dine in be prepared for a short wait, they do deliver though and because they are around the corner it is still top notch when it arrives. Try one of their oshi sushi offerings!

There are a lot of contenders for great pizza on the drive but this may be the new champion. Only 2 min walk from our place, Excellent pizza, sandwiches and Italian cocktails. One side of the restaurant is a cafe where the old Italian men of the drive gather to watch European football- it’s a vibe!
