The historic Lake Arrowhead Village is 10m from the Cabin. It features an assortment of dining venues that offer great food, wine, beer, and cocktails. It also has specialty shops, a Stater Brothers Supermarket, a pharmacy, ice cream shop, coffee shop, and much more.

Lake Arrowhead Village

Head out on this 1.7-mile loop trail 5m from the cabin. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 44 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, running, and walking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. It does involve occasionally scrabbling over some rocks. There are a few rocks visible where Native Americans would grind acorns.
Finding the trail is a little confusing, you park in the dirt lot labeled Metate trailhead, then cross the street to the Rock Camp forest service station, walk around the locked gate and follow the road straight.

Rock Camp Hike

Here you can experience ice skating (during the winter), rock climbing, zip lining, archery, mountain biking, a discovery playscape for little ones, Santa's Village mining for young explorers, hiking, fly fishing, take a conservation tour, and of course, meeting Santa Claus during the Christmas season.
