Parks & Nature
Wonderful hike with a huge payoff at the end. Waterfall and watering hole are stunning. File mile round trip hike. About 45 minute or so drive. The trails are fairly steep so would recommend children over 5 and those with no back/body issues. Pack some snacks and remember your Discovery Park Pass.

Excellent local spot for a down home breakfast, brunch or lunch. Not on for dinner. Try the cinnamon roll- it's an experience :)

Flower World is essentially a huge and sprawling nursery with every plant species you can imagine so it's great viewing/ purchasing for any gardener. Also a fun spot is the petting zoo they have on site and the beautiful walking trails and grounds. No fee and no cost to park. Bring snacks or a picnic as there is no restaurant nearby.
