One of the first restaurants in at the NDSM-warf, started by artists in the first place. Now its a really good place to chill out, enjoy free music outside under the starts (in the weekends) and have a swim in the waters (IJ).

Best place in Amsterdam and worldwide famous for its steak! Nice place, design and friendly service. Put on some fancy clothes, you feel more comfortable and have a burger or steak for breakfast (!), lunch or dinner.

(Biological) market on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Very good, not expensive and great place to watch all the differences the neighborhood has to offer as people, architecture, food and drinks. Open untill 5 pm.

Old ship dock full of ateliers and artist. Get a drink at Pllek or Noorderlicht, walk between cultural heritage and art sculptures. Every first weekend of the month a great secondhand market. In the summer the NDSM-warf is the place to be for a unexpected night out: dance as a hippy, sweat at an electro festival, watch a movie in open space, go to a live band with gypsies, here you can find it all!
