This winery has some truly delicious wines (I love the whites), a beautiful tasting room, and lots of room outside to picnic (or they have food on site). They also sometimes have live music and activities.

It's just down the road from Skyline Caverns...so that's why it's called Spelunkers. Get it? Here's a secret: At the drive-thru only, you can order a Junior Cavern Burger meal for $2.50!

They like pig butts and they cannot lie. This is a must-stop just off 66. Sit down for some BBQ, take a 1/2 dozen donuts to go, shop some local goods (including beer, wine, sauces, jewelry, and clothing), and leave full! They also just opened up the Bushel Pub :)

Front Royal is THE entrance point for Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park. Your first stunning view is just around the corner any time of year. Check out Bear Bottom Loop for mountain biking and the Bluebell Trail for hiking. In spring, the bluebells are stunning.
