Chelsea is a long-time Sedalian, moving here w/her husband & raising their children here. They have many multi-generational ties to our tight-knit community. She also works closely w/a local historian at the shop.

MUCH calmer than the superstore on the other side of town. Good prices. Great for getting in & out w/simple things like milk, eggs, bread, etc.

Food Scene
GREAT atmosphere & good food at reasonable prices w/friendly, local, long-time servers who remember you! We LOVE their handmade pies & desserts!!! We try to sit in the train car, but they have floor booths & tables as well. Kids eat free on Wednesdays. We usually eat there early. FYI: Curly-Q fries come in huge portions, easy for family to share 1 order!

One of the oldest historic churches in Sedalia, along w/St. Patrick's at 415 E 4th St, Sedalia, MO 65301. Sacred Heart is German-inspired cathedral, instead of the classic French influence across MO. Both have Spanish services & multiple times throughout the week & weekend.

Their historic 1888 downtown church burned down in Mar 2016, but they built a larger Celebration Center about 20 yrs ago that has great space for little ones - including an aquarium! They hold regular services at this complex now.
