For a wonderful taste of wine with the added benefit of giving back, Water from Wine is a winery whose sales also go to support various charities. The wine tasting room is super comfortable and the Cabernet Sauvignon is quite good.

For a authentic and tasty German biergarten experience, Muchen haus is worth the wait. The line goes fast, and if you can get a seat upstairs, the views of the cascade are fabulous.

A great hike to see the best of the Pacific Northwest. There are a few miles of dirt road to take on the way to the trailhead, but passable in most cars. The hike is fairly flat and good for kids or slower walkers. The trail follows along the river and there are great views, wildflowers, and wildlife to be seen throughout.

Skill Hill recreation area and trail has a lot to offer. The trails are great for hiking in the spring and summer, and there is cross country skiing in the winter along with inner tubing and downhill skiing for the kids. The Ski Hill lodge offers cool beer and cider too!
