Another Portland favorite. Great vegan/gluten-free options, as well as the best milkshakes in the city. Booths inside, and a nice garden seating area in the summer time. Super fun atmosphere!

Eat breakfast with the fisherman! Super casual diner-style food. They are open for dinner now these days, but really, this is a breakfast place. Opens at 4am!

Cool coffee shop at the top of exchange street. Great for grabbing a quick bite in the middle of down-town shopping! My husband likes this place better than Mornings In Paris, but I like MIP better...

My favorite coffee shop in town, if only for the people watching. Travis prefers Bard Coffee, but I don't know why. MIP makes a Nutella Latte! So good!

Our favorite bar in Portland. They have great beer, great music, amazing food, and a pool table in the back. Great place to hang out!

Sightseeing
Take a ferry out to one of the islands! They are great ways to explore outside of the city (especially in the summer time!) without needing to rent a car.

Peaks Island (where I grew up, holla!) has bike rentals, kayak rentals, beaches, WWII forts and towers, galleries, horseback riding, a candy store, a library, and a few great restaurants!

Great vintage/used clothing store. They have equally as many racks of guys' clothing as they do girls'! So your boy won't be (as) bored when you're out shopping...

Record store. They sell local music. They sell concert tickets to upcoming shows. They are all super nice and who doesn't love a record shop, right?
