Food Scene

Friendly staff, good service, and fresh fish. If you sit at the bar and a gentleman behind the sushi bar named Carlos is there, sit in his area. He will take good care of you, and he is fast.

Some of the best Sandwiches on the lake, and definitely on the north shore. All their sandwiches are made with organic wholesome ingredients, and with lots of care. These sandwiches are the bomb!!

Parks & Nature

Awesome sunset views, and on warm sunny days or cold ones, its still always nice to walk down and spend some time by the lake. It is one of the busier public beaches on the east shore, but beautiful none the less

This is one of my favorite beaches on the lake. It is generally less crowded than other beaches, and is about 1/2 a mile hike down. The parking area is just before the actual Thunderbird Lodge entrance. Its got stunning views, great sunsets, and clear blue water.

This trail has some of if not the most beautiful views of Lake Tahoe. It is a little tough getting up, but definitely worth the hike. The best times to hike it is in late spring/early summer through early fall.

Entertainment & Activities

Hands down the best ticket price in the Tahoe basin, just $55 for an all day adult pass, compared to $120+ at big corporate resorts. Diamond Peak is known for their family friendly learn to ski/ride programs and local resort feel. It is a relatively small mountain, but has enough acreage, and runs to have a great day.
