Italian market with a great little coffee shop in it. It isn't very big, but they make the BEST Italian hot chocolate. And if you want to cook Italian, get sliced meats or cheese, they have EVERYTHING. There is a smaller version in West Kelowna.

This is a great local market and what I like about it is they bring in fruit and vegetables from all over the Okanagan to this one place, also many home-made jams/syrups/condiments, there is an ice-cream shop, and you can use your credit/debit card which is handy. Also, the Paynter family has been operating their farms/orchards for a very long time and have recently added an organic vineyard/winery -- "Off The Grid" winery.

I am going to recommend this because the food is really good, lots of unique items...it is a cute little bistro for breakfast or lunch...it is fairly new though so they have some kinks to work out in regards to service.

Spray park for kids, skate park, beach, beach volleyball, playground, right near the city, lovely place to walk and bike as well. There is a spray park in West Kelowna as well and one in Rutland.

Another option for a spray park, a little bit out of the city. It is fenced which makes it easier to watch children.

A Provincial Park that is nearby. Lots of beach front, nice shade and grass and playground as well. Across the street there is a very nice hike to some waterfalls as well, clearly marked.
