Really nice pub /restaurant overlooking the broads. Nice garden. You can walk from Lound by following the path (or loke in Suffolk dialect) next to The Village Maid. Somerleyton is the perfect English village with a stately home open to the public.

Our local pub has been 'done up' and is now owned by the same people as 'The Commadore' - a very popular and well respected gastro pub in Oulton Broad.

So remote that it has no mains electricity, this is a great pub offering good food and even better local beer. Often has live music. On the banks of the beautiful river waveney, it can be reached by the black dog ferry from Beccles.
