On Saturday's and Sunday's, our local market comes to life! Indoor and street market/vendor areas, local restaurants w/ outdoor eateries and lots of local artists make this a vibrant and wonderful place to walk to in the mornings. Take the "off-Pennsylvania Ave" streets to/from Eastern Market to really get a great feel / tour of our historic, tree-lined Capitol Hill neighborhood!

A quick 10-minute drive south on I-295 will get you to The National Harbor (and Tanger Outlet Mall). The National Harbour is anchored by the amazing Gaylord Convention Center and Hotel (worthy of a stroll through their GRAND atrium w/ restaurants, bars, etc. -- all indoors). The NH also has many great restaurants, bars, waterfront dining and walking. -- The MGM Grand Casino is also at this location!
