My personal favorite. Great fresh food, charming atmosphere, great art on the walls, and the best patio seating around (when it's warm!). Pricier for dinner, lunches are cheaper... But worth it.

Good Chinese food. Good for take out, too - and only a few minutes from our house - behind the Kum N Go.

A tiny, local (in Palmer Lake) place that serves some of the BEST breakfasts and lunches around! Seriously. And you have to try their Nutella Latte!

Seriously the BEST donuts in Colorado Springs! In fun shapes of horses and horseshoes. There's always one specialty donut each day. And you need to get there by noon if possible, because sometimes they sell out.

Fun place to try delicious ciders. (their cider flight is wonderful!). They also have some nice pub/bar food. The place also has a new wine bar in front. The black cherry cider is delicious. But the server introduced us to one that is half ginger cider and half blackcurrent - YUM

Parks & Nature
I go here many times a week with my dog. Lots of trails, beautiful Forest Preserve. You can also hike Mt. Herman, but you need to continue driving past the trailhead on the Mt. Herman road for another 15 minutes or so to a big S curve with room for about 4 cars. This is the start for the trail going up the mountain.
