The Vasa Museum (Swedish: Vasamuseet) is a maritime museum in Stockholm, Sweden. Gamla Stan, the Old Town, is one of the largest and best preserved medieval city centers in Europe, and one of the foremost attractions in Stockholm. This is where Stockholm was founded in 1252. Wonderful to stroll around in this area.

It is famous for its grand ceremonial halls and unique pieces of art and is the venue of the Nobel Prize banquet held on 10th of December each year. It also houses offices for 200 people including the Municipal Council. Great guided tours!
