This place has huge steaks that are some of the best it's located about 45 min from Anchorage has great views and is set on a mountain side with ski resort in the winter and hiking in the summer this place is a must see/go to when coming to Anchorage

The furthest place you can drive west by car this little town is the Halibut capitol of the world. It's a little far from Anchorage 4 hrs but it's worth the drive to go catch some fish and enjoy there beaches plus cool little shops for shopping memorability....

Beautiful sightseeing it's a old mining camp with tours and little cabins you can stay at with a very peaceful setting summer or winter.... wild blue berry picking in the summer and snow activities in the winter
