Hugh waterfall, and great lookouts from the top of the mountain. Escape the summer heat and find bush walks to enjoy. After waterfall visit the Best Outlook Ever about 4k further on.

Beautiful beach for kids. Village type shopping and cafes. We go along the beach to the South End and take a walk along the seafront path and return via the higher path. Watch the surfers and enjoy the wildlife. About an hour return, take a picnic or drinks.

This is the best beach to take small children. The estuary is calm and shallow near the edge and the sand smooth. Most other beaches are too rough for the kids. Take a picnic and plenty of sunscreen.

Lunch 1.30pm go earlier to eat then stay and watch the Pelicans being fed the fish heads. Then come flying in from all over. The kids will love it! Closed on Monday. The kids can also have a swim right outside the fresh fish store in a warm lagoon, so take togs.

We go to Reilly's on top of the mountain. You can feed the parrots and take the tree-top walk, also a gift shop and cafe. At the bottom of the mountain is a nice winery, for lunch. Be aware that the mountain road is narrow with drops both sides in places, drive carefully.
