A great 4 hour hike at Karekare takes in bush and beach with wonderful views. Also great for simple beach visit with impressive waterfall short walk from road.

Great cafe is superb location. This is a lovely 20 minute drive from the treehouse and you pass a bunch of beaches on the way.

Historic Lopdell house has just been beautifully renovated. Don't miss the open rooftop harbour views. You can almost see my house from here! The impressive new regional art gallery is next door.
