This is not only the closest restaurant to the house (just 300 metres away), it is also one of our current favourites. It is a really friendly, welcoming place with a great terrace and a wonderful menu of local food, often with a slight twist.

The whole town is about wine... it is worth a wander to check out the wine shops, the museums and to say that you've been there, but aside from that many of the area's other villages have far more to offer.

A very quiet little village with magnificent views and a couple of good restaurants. The cantina comunale, which is in the castle, is well worth a visit.
