A great park for picnics, visiting the lakes and generally enjoying a lazy sunday afternoon. Caters for kids and we would definitely recommend it.

Simply just stunning from its apartments to english gardens and waterfalls. Its not listed as one of the great wonders of the world but in my opinion it should be. where else can you walk up the road look over to your lreft and see a 200 ft waterfall in the middle of a town!

Piazza Carlo di BorboneSimply just stunning from its apartments to english gardens and waterfalls. Its not listed as one of the great wonders of the world but in my opinion it should be. where else can you walk up the road look over to your lreft and see a 200 ft waterfall in the middle of a town!

where do i start? everything about matese is just breathtaking including the journey. should definitely be on your bucket list. the last time i went was august 2015 with my cousin and we kept stopping to look at the views. the only things we saw were wild horses, cattle, sheep and the odd shepard. No power lines, no telephone lines, hardly anybody else and just stunning views. when you get to the top you have locals selling their food, buy some! finally it that isnt enough, if you cycle the giro d italia (the italian tour de france) uses some of these mountains. if you are a cyclist it really is something special.
