Amsterdam's most exclusive shopping street is located in the PC Hooftstraat. It's walking distance and the fastest way is through the Vondelpark.

Nice no nonsense cafe / restaurant. You can also have dinner here, they don’t have a large menu (only between five starters and five mains, different every day), but everything is fresh and good.

Very famous in Amsterdam is Loetje. This is a restaurant where the signature dish is steak. And it is really delicious, with reasonable prices. If you prefer spicy, take the Bali steak : )

Walking distance and delicious : ). It’s one of the oldest and most famous Indonesian restaurants in the Netherlands, and I would advise to book in advance. But often I just walk in and sit at the bar
