Four doors down from No 19, The Larder is run by Jess, Mike and most of their family. It does amazing coffee and food throughout the day. Just take a look at the counter. Something of an institution, The Larder has a very loyal following. Tell Jess you are staying at Rebecca’s apartment and he will look after you! He knows everyone and everything there is to know!

Walk into lovely Jephson Gardens and visit The Aviary Cafe, run by the team behind The Larder. Same great coffee, food and service but in a really pretty Victorian glasshouse. Hugely popular at the weekend.

Leamington’s smartest restaurant with formal service and a seasonal menu. There’s a cocktail bar upstairs. Food is generally very good but service can be a bit hit and miss. Great for a celebration meal but can lack a bit of atmosphere if it’s quiet. Private dining options also available. Serious food, serious atmosphere, serious prices.

Leamington has many good curry houses and a few are to be found on Regent Street. Kayal is one of the best and offers Southern Indian Kerala cuisine with a focus on seafood. Delicious curry. Slightly odd interior!

Fresh, delicious asian food and good value for money. This Wagamama is housed in the beautiful old ballroom of the once famous Regent Hotel. They do takeaway too, but you have to collect. Affordable and delicious.

Shopping

Leamington's best greengrocers. They deliver to pretty much all the restaurants in the area. Amazing fresh veg and fruit in a small shop. Real buzz. Bit chaotic on Saturday!

Sightseeing

Everything a castle is meant to be! There are dungeons, a portcullis, moats, crenelated towers, grand halls, state rooms and lovely grounds. Not cheap to visit, but worth it for a full day out. The medieval town of Warwick is also lovely.
