Traditions has a nice restaurant/coffee shop as well as a fair trade boutique selling lots of clothing, textiles, housewares, toys, etc. Sometimes they also have live music and other events.

Ralph's has a great selection and the produce is priced well; other items are a bit pricier here than they are at other grocery stores in town. However, it's an easy walk. Also, unlike other stores in Thurston County, they do have some free bags for your groceries.

A small but really scenic park. Depending on the weather and time of year, the falls can be quite dramatic, or fairly calm (and sometimes you'll see salmon!)

You can get to this park just by heading straight down Legion Way SE until it ends. There is a flat trail (approximately 1.5 miles) around the lake and another trail that leads straight up to the Capitol building.
