Victoria has our parliament buildings, a beautiful waterfront harbor to explore, restaurants, cobble streets, shops and more. An express bus to town and lots of parking make it easy to get around. Watch out for 1 way streets though!

Known around the world as a place to see, Butchard Gardens is a direct bus along West Saanich Road. Worth the trip, expect to spend the day though so much to do and see.

We are 300 ft from Patricia Bay (Pat Bay for locals), with beautiful sand beaches at low tide. Great walking trail along the edge, warmest water in the area in this bay. If you SUP, this is a nice sheltered area to explore our coastline from.

Sidney is a beautiful little town with a main street that screams to be strolled. Walk down to the end and you come to the Pier. Street is filled with clothing shops, essentials, grocery stores, liquor stores, gas, banks etc. You can find everything you need (almost) in Sidney, only 15 minutes from our home.

The local Sidney Cinema is a throw back to what theatres used to be like. Inexpensive, gets the new releases, lots of fun to sit and have a movie on a rainy afternoon. Gets busy though.

The full height 100 ft wall has a door that opens on sunny days so you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and get a view from the top of the wall. great staff, rent all gear on site, very affordable. Located just behind Stellys Secondary School on Stellys Drive just on the edge of Brentwood Bay.

Located just behind Stellys Secondary School on Stellys Drive just on the edge of Brentwood Bay.
You can rent Kayaks or Stand Up Paddle Boards. They have SUP yoga classes and tours. If you want to be on the water to explore the beautiful Brentwood Bay and Saanich Inlet, this is the way to go on a sunny day.
