This deli has a huge variety of food/baked goods available -- we never get bored of it! If you don't plan to cook often, you can definitely stop by this deli to stock up on food. It's not super cheap, but they do a great job. We recommend the muffins and spanakopitas.

This impressive outdoor garden is convenient to get to from our house and is open all year round. They charge a fee, but it's well worth the price of admission, especially if you visit during the Festival of Light in December.

This whole area at this location is great if you feel like going to an early morning/late night walk just for fun. It's just a couple minutes from the house and is quiet and relaxing.

This isn't a very large grocery store, but it's super easy to get to from our house. Just head over to Oak Street and walk north for 5 minutes! It's open until midnight. The next closest grocery store is Safeway, which is also on Oak Street, but a 15-minute walk south.

We are pretty darn close to Granville Island, one of Vancouver's most popular spots for both locals and tourists. It's a comfortable 30-minute walk, and you'll likely want to spend a few hours browsing the shops and watching the boats come in.

The art gallery! If hop on the #17 bus nearby, it will take you straight to this part of downtown. It's really convenient to get to and I recommend stopping by. Take a look at their website beforehand to see what exhibits they're featuring during your stay.
