Uncle Tom's is on the outskirts of Mullumbimby and well, they have some of the best pies ever. If you are hungry to taste their delights, why not stop for a bite either on your way in or out. You can thank me later. ;-)

Mt Warning (known by the indigenous folk as Wullumbin) is a volcano nestled in the middle of what was once a super volcano. The entire region is still rich in nutrients from those eruptions that formed this landscape, millions of years ago. This little mountain is also where Australia's first light touches 'land' each morning.

This stunning national park hosts the last stand of ancient Arctic Beech trees in Australia. These giants are typically 1000-2000 years old and its truly inspiring to sit amongst these ancient trees. There are many walks of varying lengths for you to enjoy and there are exceptional lookout spots like Black Butt and The Pinnacle. It's a day trip, so be sure to leave early!

The Cape Byron Lighthouse is a icon of our region. During the August - October months humpback whales can be seen migrating north to their birthing sanctuary in Hervey Bay. It provides stunning views of the entire region and is a highlight when visiting.

Woolies is the go-to place for everything else and has one of the best ranges of organic products along with everything else they stock. Their bottle shop has a great organic wine selection.

Crystal Castle has become almost as iconic as the lighthouse. Surrounded by magnificent gardens and featuring amazing crystals of large proportions, if crystals are your thing, this is a must see.
