TOP TIP - Great walking trails through Ashridge National Trust park and walk into Aldbury village. Outdoor cafe at the Monument, selling hot drinks, rustic meals and cakes. On nice days the monument opens and you can go up for a small fee. When clear you can see Canary Wharf, London from the top.

St Albans is the ideal place for a day out. It is only a 20-30 minute drive away from Potten End. The small city features a beautiful Cathedral, the Verulamium museum and a nice cobbled city centre full of boutiques and cafes. Make sure you have a stroll through the beautiful Verulamium park and pass by the cathedral.
Gadebridge Park is a nice little park with a recreational ground and outdoor gym, leading straight into Old Hemel High Street. The High Street is small but very picturesque and features a few nice restaurants. We'd recommend the Thiangmai Cottage for a nice meal out.
