Affordable sushi restaurant at the Barracks. Order from the menu, rather than just taking from the sushi train. We love the teriyaki beef, the chicken or octopus karaage, and the spicy gyoza.

Our favourite Japanese in West End. Delicious food and very good prices. Try the Red Hot Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen; the Fried Oysters; the Chicken or Squid Karaage; the Sashimi; the Miso Soup; the Takoyaki. They are all delicious!

Great restaurant in West Village at West End. You can't go past the $50 power banquet - a 9 course banquet at a fantastic price, but only between 11am and 6pm, 7 days a week!! Highly recommended. Lots of other options too.

Mt Coot-tha Lookout is the highest point in Brisbane with remarkable panoramic views of the city and Moreton Bay. The lookout boasts the best view of the CBD and well-known Brisbane landmarks. Beautiful by day and spectacular at night! Take a drive up there or take a bus.

Just a 15 minute walk from our apartment, take a stroll through the Parkland’s 16 hectares to see some exceptional sights, including the Spectacle Garden in Colin Campbell Place – a world-class garden showcasing a host of colourful and unique subtropical foliage and flowering plants. There’s also a stunning rainforest walk and plenty more. Visit on a warm day, and you’ll see plenty of Eastern Water Dragons lounging throughout Roma Street Parkland’s rocks and pathways, soaking up the sun. To learn more about the scenery, don’t miss a free guided tour – they run throughout the year, registrations required.c

Llovely local pool located opposite Suncorp Stadium. Pool complex has a 25 metre, heated, outdoor, salt water pool with six lanes, disabled ramp and shaded shallow end. The complex has a grassy area for sunbaking, a shaded areas by the pool. and a kiosk for drinks and snacks.
