Peaceful, calm, meditative, walker friendly, art spaces, undercover facilities for BYO lunches are fabulous but be aware, the kookaburras prey on your lunch if you dare take your eyes off them (only half kidding). Beautiful display of local flora and some fauna.

Manned by 70 volunteers and open 6 days a week, the Centre has maps, local info, tourist brochures, bus timetables, local walk guides, books and merchandise

Don't miss the old Post Office (4 Burnett St) built in 1935, now serves as the Buderim Community Information Centre. Kids can be amused with train rides and adults can try the produce at the café, don't miss the local ice cream - 'to die for delectable', and I have just coined a new phrase. You can wander the gardens and paths for free and learn all there is to know about ginger.

Just a hop skip and a jump, to the most beautiful park of ancient fig trees, a canopy that can put you in a different world. Take a book if you like and enjoy the peace! There are ammenities and a comprehensive childrens play ground as well.
