Certainly one of the top cocktail bars in the city, if not the country. MP is often written up in magazines, blogs, etc. High quality cocktails in an old New Orleans atmosphere. They have an excellent oyster happy hour as well.

Hidden gem! Not just a bar, but a small club. Good food, and live music every night- usually old timey music, not rock/blues/hip hop. Classy spot with a nice interior similar to Maison Premiere. No cover charge and prices are very reasonable for the neighborhood.
