Figgy's takeout location is a great place for fried chicken and pork katsu. Figgy's sandwiches are just amazing (and huge). Grab it to go or eat there on a picnic bench in the beautiful West End neighborhood. Finish off your meal with an ice cream sandwich.

Figgy's takeout location is a great place for fried chicken and pork katsu. Figgy's sandwiches are just amazing (and huge). Grab it to go or eat there on a picnic bench in the beautiful West End neighborhood. Finish off your meal with an ice cream sandwich.
Buttery seafood. The food is excellent and the ambiance is intimate and romantic. We believe it is the best seafood in town, and we love their desserts as well like the Pecan Bourbon pie which is from Two Fats Bakery.

A more casual option, this fusion joint provides delicious, although not authentic, dim sum. Located in the same building as a Chinese restaurant open from 1916-1953, this is a great place to share a fun meal. We love the pork belly buns and the green beans.

This is the BEST ice cream in the area--just really high quality scoops with some interesting flavors. The only place we get salted caramel. It's also close to Scratch Bakery and Willard Beach.

This beach is perfect for kids. There is lots room for sandcastles and plenty of hermit crabs to admire, plus the water is shallow (warm) and not too rough.

If you are looking for warmer waters, and do not mind a long drive, this pond is perfect for swimming. Relatively close to the Shaker Village too.
