Drinks & Nightlife

The place has a really relaxed atmosphere, good live music and you can even order your own bottle of liquor which they will keep until your next visit if it's not empty when you leave.

Sightseeing

Asakusa is one of the must see attractions in Tokyo. Usually very busy but has great feel to it. Also some nice street food/sweets to try, and lots of opportunities to by souvenirs. The temple and gates aren't bad either!

Parks & Nature

This is Japan's oldest amusement park and has a wonderful retro feel to it. I loved the pedal helicopters and the ghost train ride. But of course the highlight was the panda cars!

Arts & Culture

A lot more interactive than I expected! Can play 70-80% of the drums, but can be aweful loud with more than about 5 people in there as the museum consists of one room. For 500 yen it's a pretty good place to bash about.

Shopping

Decent shopping mall on top of the train station. There's a little bit of everything, but nothing special that makes it better than amy other average mall. There's restaurants on the top floor, and a roof top terrasse. The terrasse can usually be visited free of charge and picknicking is allowed (there's chairs and tables, and soft drink vending machines) but in summer there's also a restaurant-bar. It even offers a view of the skytree

Essentials

A fairly large grocery store, conveniently located across from Kaminarimon. Very reasonable prices too.
