nice decoration, degenerating partynights. hard to get in so show up early and maybe know a couple dj´s playing at this very night. best day definatly sunday, arrive around 6pm and getting in shouldnt be too hard, dont dress fancy and no groupds bigger than 3..

former GDR prison. interesting and tours every hour..call if the have some in english that very day. its cheap and an essential part of our history, ive been a couple times and enjoyed. always different tourguides so other insights as they usually are former prisioners.

its a dirty and messy park.. but it is virbrating due to many musicans and a chilled athmosphere. very popular sundays with its flea market but if you go there on another day you see actual berliners hanging out, smoking a joint or having a bbq..in the summer im one of them!

many locals go there for a swim or a beer. one side you have to pay entrance, the other one is also possible to get in the lake...there are also nudist areas...remember its a lake in the city, so can be very crowded on weekends and its not the meditarian.

Impressive theather between humboldt university and mueums island which offers shows with english subtitles aswell. they have student, unemployment, youth and eldery discount(as almost every theater here)
