Zion is about an hour drive depending on the traffic and season. Prepare to spend the day. Pack a picnic or stop by Subway and grab a sandwich. It requires a park pass to enter but there is so much to see. You can ride a bike, take the shuttle, or hike in. In the hottest part of the summer they have river rafts for rent. After a scenic tour of Zion stop in Springdale for some good food and drink. Oscars is a favorite dinner stop.
